The Dahu Trail in Gryon: a fun walk for children

From Barboleuse, we take the cable car up to Les Chaux. Once we arrive, we set off on the Dahu Trail, an easy walk full of surprises.

We take the children with us. They enthusiastically embark on an exciting treasure hunt. Each discovery triggers laughter and wonder, making the walk even more enjoyable, while raising the children's awareness of the importance of water and its preservation.

Lake Frience in Gryon: the magic of a lake in the Vaud mountains

As we walk, the landscape opens up onto the Frience plateau and we catch sight of the sparkling lake. The setting is breathtaking: a true natural gem, perfect for taking a break and enjoying the moment together. The view is incredible and worthy of a postcard. The panorama alone is worth the detour.

A gourmet break at the Refuge de Frience

Before enjoying the cool water, it's time for a gourmet break at the Refuge de Frience. The welcome is warm and the dishes generous. The fine, delicate cuisine is a real treat. After working up an appetite, the children welcome their menu with joy, savouring every bite as a real treat.

Swimming and relaxation in Frience

We head to Lake Frience, where we settle down in the shade of the parasols at Chez Tony's Buvette. The cool water quickly invigorates us. We spend the afternoon swimming, playing, and enjoying the spectacular natural surroundings. A unique experience in the heart of the mountains.

Return to Barboleuse

At the end of the afternoon, the sky darkens and we begin our descent on foot. We follow the trail from the Frience car park to Barboleuse. The walk is easy and pleasant, and we arrive just in time before the storm breaks.

A whole day spent exploring, savouring, cooling off and breathing in the fresh air: an unforgettable experience for young and old alike!
