The must-see summer event in Gryon is back this weekend: the Solalex Workshops once again take over the alpine barns, nestled in the heart of a magnificent natural setting.
Until August 29, the chalets in the hamlet of Solalex are transformed into true pop-up galleries, celebrating local craftsmanship in all its forms. Ceramics, watercolors, paintings, handmade objects... Every day, visitors can discover original creations and meet the artisans in person.
The line-up changes every two weeks, featuring a new selection of exhibitors each session, highlighting the diversity and richness of regional know-how.
Around twenty artisans will take part throughout the summer: don’t miss this opportunity to combine a mountain walk with artistic discovery!
For over 20 years, this unique event has attracted a wide audience every summer, eager to discover the creative world of artisans from the Alpes Vaudoises, all in a breathtaking alpine setting.
Nestled at the foot of the majestic cliffs of the Miroir d’Argentine, the Solalex alpine pasture is a peaceful and wild haven perfect for a summer escape finished off with a delicious dessert at the Solalex Refuge.
Accessible on foot, by bike, bus, or car from Gryon, it’s an idyllic place to hike, picnic, watch wildlife… or simply take in the moment while admiring the surrounding peaks.
