Why choose between a mountain hike and discovering local flavours? This gourmet hike in Leysin invites you to explore the landscapes of the Alpes Vaudoises along a scenic route punctuated by delicious stops at three authentic mountain refreshment huts.
Combining alpine trails, mountain panoramas and local specialities, this experience blends nature, conviviality and regional gastronomy. With around 2.5 hours of walking, the different gourmet stops allow you to fully enjoy the scenery while tasting typical regional products.
Your adventure begins with a sporty ascent towards the Solacyre mountain hut. Upon arrival, a well-deserved aperitif awaits you, featuring a selection of regional cheeses accompanied by a glass of wine or a beer (soft drinks or mineral water for children).
The route then continues mainly downhill to the Temeley alpine pasture, in the heart of mountain meadows. For your meal, choose from several Swiss and mountain specialities: alpine fondue, cheese crust or ham on the bone with rösti.
The walk ends at the Prafandaz restaurant for a final gourmet stop. Depending on availability, enjoy a homemade dessert among several sweet treats: seasonal fruit tart, tiramisu, meringue with double cream or artisan ice cream.
