Ailyos Art Nature - Sculture Symposium

The Ailyos Art and Nature association invites visitors to explore an open-air art gallery, encouraging walkers to discover the artworks in their idyllic setting: along the footpaths, in the town or out in the countryside.
To round off this experience, from 12 to 19 July, international sculptors will take part in the Ailyos woodcarving symposium. In the spring, the artists submitted a sketch of a woodcarving on the theme ‘From the plains to the mountains’, and for a week, each will create the piece they have imagined live in front of the public.
A unique opportunity to witness first-hand the creative process and the technical skill required to create a monumental sculpture. Alongside this, a temporary exhibition of sculptures is on display at the Maison de l’Espace Nordique during the same period.
