Avalanche awareness course (UPA 10)

A "theoretical" morning on the dangers of avalanches: explanation of the SFL avalanche bulletin, workshops on race preparation, first aid, the use of avalanche transceivers, etc. The afternoon is devoted to "practical" training with exercises in searching for avalanche transceivers and organising rescue in the event of an accident or avalanche. You must be equipped with avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe as well as skis or snowshoes. Limited number of participants.
