‘It's all in your head, Miss!’: a phrase Roxane has heard many times. She is in pain, without knowing where it comes from, and she feels that doctors are not taking her seriously enough.

For the first time, in front of us, Roxane finally dares to open up. Sometimes awkwardly, sometimes humorously, sometimes seriously, she questions, recounts, moves, shouts and laughs. Surrounded by music and voiceovers from her family, doctors and friends, she recounts her first romantic stirrings, her emancipation, but also her first period and her complicated relationship with her body and with medicine. All her experiences lead her to reflect on our society.

Through this solo performance, Giliane Bussy questions the violence of patriarchy in parallel with that of endometriosis. This condition, which affects one in ten women, is too often minimised and still little known.

Directed by Karim Slama, the show surprises with its lightness, precision and depth.
