Avalanche safety and rescue course - freeride SMT1

The one-day Safety & Avalanches course allows participants to familiarise themselves with the use of avalanche transceivers, shovels and probes, understand avalanche bulletins and become aware of the dangers associated with winter. They also learn how to apply the 3×3 method, identify common risk situations and perform basic rescue techniques.

At the end of the course, each participant receives SMT Winter 1 certification.
