Concert by L'Orchestre de Chambre de Genève

For the opening of the season, the Geneva Chamber Orchestra welcomes violinist Svetlin Roussev. Alongside the school's best students, he shares his passion and talent through a selection of excerpts from the great concert repertoire: Beethoven, Schumann, Schubert, Paganini, Hisaishi, Saint-Saëns and Ravel.

A violin professor at the prestigious Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, Svetlin Roussev has enjoyed a distinguished international career. He is regularly invited to give masterclasses in violin and chamber music all over the world and, since 2000, has conducted numerous ensembles and orchestras in Bulgaria, France, Poland, Korea, Japan, Sweden and Macao.
