La Guintsette invites you to come and discover the wealth and diversity of tomatoes grown in St-Triphon by Jean-Claude Rogeat, an enthusiast for old varieties. On his estate, he carefully grows dozens of varieties with evocative names and surprising shapes: from the Téton de Vénus to the Rose de Berne, not forgetting multicoloured or heart-shaped tomatoes.
Each variety tells a story, a region, a forgotten taste that Jean-Claude is committed to preserving and passing on. Thanks to this tasting, you'll rediscover what ‘the taste of tomato’ really means - an explosion of flavours, textures and aromas, a far cry from industrial standards.
It's a tasty, educational and meaningful experience, not to be missed by those with a curiosity for taste and garden lovers alike.
