Via Ferrata du Lavanchy - family introduction

This via ferrata, nestled in the heart of a peaceful forest near Pont-de-Nant above Les Plans-sur-Bex, offers a short, intense adventure ideal for thrill-seekers.

You set off from the Pont-de-Nant car park to reach this south-east-facing limestone wall, after an approach walk of around 25 minutes.

Right from the start, a slightly overhanging section will test your strength and technique. This is followed by an ascending traverse along a diagonal ledge that leads to some challenging vertical sections.

Throughout this 200-metre route, your safety is guaranteed by a professional mountain guide who will teach you progression techniques and encourage you to push your limits in an exceptional natural setting.

After a 30-minute ascent, the route ends at an altitude of 1574m, while a spectacular, unobstructed view of the Vaud Alps delights your eyes.

The descent back to the starting point takes 30 minutes, and you'll return home fulfilled and with a valuable experience that's as brief as it is rewarding!
