Discover the exhibition ‘À voir et à manger. Regards d’artistes sur le terroir suisse' (To See and Eat: Artists' Perspectives on Swiss Terroir) an invitation to explore the theme of taste through the eyes of contemporary artists. Combining visual art, materials and sensations, the exhibition offers a sensitive and original reflection on Swiss terroir, its products, traditions and the imagery associated with it.
Visitors are accompanied by commentary from the exhibition curator, as well as the voices of a selection of guest artists, whose works have been specially designed for this occasion. Each creation offers a unique interpretation of the relationship to food, production and consumption, inviting us to look differently at what we eat and where it comes from.
The guided tour will begin at the Espace Graffenried, the first exhibition venue, before continuing at the Château d'Aigle, another venue on the tour. The second part of the exhibition is housed in the Tour Carrée, with three installations by artist Leah Linh, brought together under the title ‘Raw Materials’. Through these immersive works, the artist questions the transformation of products, resources and practices linked to the land, extending the reflection between art, matter and taste.
