Temple de Vers-l'Eglise
1864 Vers-l'Eglise
‘The instrument closest to God is the trumpet.’ Christian Wild will always remember these words spoken by Maurice André during one of the great master's masterclasses. In addition to his virtuosity award, Christian Wild trained as a music teacher. He divides his time between teaching and playing the trumpet, that instrument of angels which touches our hearts as much with its brilliance as with its expressiveness.
Albrecht Enders is a professor of strategy and innovation at IMD in Lausanne. A trumpet player since childhood, he has released several CDs for two trumpets and organ and has given numerous concerts, notably at St. Nicholas Church in Leipzig, where J. S. Bach was Kapellmeister, and at Münster Cathedral in Bonn. He continues to practise music alongside his academic work.
Francesco Alessandrini, organist at our parish, studied music in Italy, at the Vatican City and in Switzerland. He developed his expertise in organ, double bass and opera singing, specialising in ear training and organ improvisation. In addition to his work as an organist, he is also an organ builder.
