Description
Want to reconnect with the wild? Start a fire without a lighter, match or even a firesteel ? Learn about natural fire starters and how to recognise the tree species you need to create your own lighting kit ?
It couldn't be easier: all you have to do is join us for this fun workshop in the great outdoors.
The day's programme will cover and experiment with the following points:
- Safety and ethical rules before, during and after a fire
- Natural firelighters
- Recognising the different species of useful trees
- Making the various components of your "friction fire" kit
- Understanding and experimenting with the friction fire technique
