Underground Adventure Course

Description

This exceptional and varied route, technical and fun, under the mountain of Leysin plunges you into the world of caving.

This adventure course allows you to experience several types of progressions practised by cavers such as ramping, via-corda, abseiling or searching for routes in autonomy. The activity is supervised by a professional caving guide with SOA (Swiss Outdoor Association) certification. The activity can be practised in all seasons and allows you to get to know the underground environment while practising a fun and sporting activity. In winter, the cave is accessible by ski or snowshoes. After an "intimate" entrance, the cave offers vast volumes revealing several types of concretions and an exceptional "fault mirror" over 60 metres long. The rest of the route reveals more challenging passages of varying difficulty. The underground adventure course is a rich experience, reinforcing the roped party spirit so dear to mountaineers. The technical and safety equipment is provided by the guide: caving suit, helmet and lighting, knee pads, gloves, harness and lanyards, technical equipment for the cave.
